Amit Mundawala is a distinguished entrepreneur and respected visionary industry leader with nearly two decades of experience in architecting some of India’s most influential agribusiness and rural finance platforms. As Managing Director of AgriBazaar and Co-Founder of StarAgri and Agriwise, he has helped revolutionize agricultural commerce and financial inclusion across India.

Amit began his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding StarAgri, scaling it from a startup into a national force managing over 1,400 warehouses and facilitating more than $2 billion in collateral management services. Under his leadership, the company became a cornerstone of India’s agri-supply chain infrastructure.

At AgriBazaar, Amit built India’s largest digital marketplace for agri-commodities, enabling direct access to markets for farmers and traders. The platform has processed over $3 billion in trade, dramatically improving price transparency and operational efficiency in the sector. Through Agriwise, he has led initiatives focused on rural lending and credit access, empowering smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs through technology-driven financial solutions.

Supported by leading global investors including Temasek Holdings, Amit’s companies continue to set benchmarks in scalable innovation. He holds a Doctorate in Business Management from Theophany University.
